untamed is a collection of poetry that revolves around love, loss, and the melancholy that grazes a woman’s soul throughout transitions. The poems narrate the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual experiences we go through in various phases of our lives. The verses of the poems strip down experiences to their rawest nature, dissecting and exploring women’s hearts and minds. Socially constructed barriers are further shredded to ribbons, as we evolve into our truest form and reemerge from the shackles as a warrior, as a woman.

About The Author

Nusrat Aziz Mim is a workaholic author who lives for coffee and chaos. Her passion for poetry inspired her to study literature and linguistics, where she graduated with a summa cum laude due to her love and dedication to the subject. She completed her master's in TESOL with another summa cum laude. She advocates for an inclusive education system and wants to spend more time giving back to the community. Her debut poetry collection, untamed, represents her innermost feelings of love, duty, womanhood, letting go, religion, corruption, and, most of all, her journey as a woman.
